A new Advice Centre comes to Leicester
Leicester Community Legal Advice Centre provides free, independent and confidential advice. We can help people living in Leicester with issues with:
- family
- employment
- housing
- welfare benefits
- debt
- community care
- mental health
We can also provide help with filling out forms with regards to benefit entitlements. Ask our reception staff for more information.
We are working very closely with local community groups to set up financial awareness workshops to improve people's understanding of issues such as:
- Household budgeting
- Opening a bank account - including the different types of bank accounts
- How to save better
- Useful information about understanding payslips
- Tax and pensions made simple
- Understanding benefit entitlements
We want to make sure that we get to the root of problems with debt and making ends meet, so that people in Leicester can manage their finances better - so watch this space!
